Can you explain more about what a loyalty and rewards program is?
For your customers Indie Points is a digital stamp card. One that works not just with your business but with multiple businesses. For your business it is a way to reward your loyal customers and keep them coming back. The way the app is structured you no longer have to offer discounts to everyone, instead you can offer the best deals to your best customers.
Why does the app have to work for multiple businesses, can't it just work for mine?
It could, but the cost would be massive. By using Indie Points you can get a big business quality app (think Greggs or Costa) at an independent business price.
Do I need to offer discounts to customers from other businesses?
No, but we do ask that you set up a discovery reward. This is generally a small incentive for someone to try your business. Think large coffee for the price of a regular or a half price starter with a main or a large. It's a one time deal that Indie Points customers can get when they spend money with your business.
What sort of rewards should I offer to my customers?
There are many answers to this question. The most important thing to remember is that we know you can run a business well. You might already have some great ideas that you would like to try out. What we have noticed is that rewards in the region of 4%, 6% and 8% are sustainable for essentially every business. We call these tiers Friendly, Loyal and Committed. I'm not sure a loyalty program is for me.
